At ADIRAJ COATING PVT. LTD., we provide high-precision industrial laser etching and selective laser ablation engineered for automotive controls, cockpit switchgear, and permanent component traceability. Situated in Chakan, Pune, we work in close synergy with Tier-1 automotive electronics and lighting suppliers.
One of our signature capabilities is selective day/night switch ablation. Modern automotive interior switches (window lifts, hazard buttons, climate toggles) are molded from translucent or white polycarbonate/ABS. The part is first coated with a high-opacity black or charcoal topcoat. Using computer-guided galvanometer laser scanners, our laser beam vaporizes the top opaque paint layer with microscopic depth precision, exposing the translucent substrate beneath. During daylight, the icon appears crisp white against the dark matte surface; at night, internal LEDs illuminate the etched symbol with crystal-clear, uniform backlight radiance.
Strips top opaque paint layers with micron-depth control without melting, scorching, or pitting the base polymer.
Etches high-contrast, permanent 2D DataMatrix, QR codes, VIN numbers, and lot codes readable by automated optical scanners.
Imports CAD vector files directly (DXF, AI, PLT). Rapid design revisions and zero expensive mechanical tooling or die costs.
Laser markings are physically ablated into the substrate—immune to chemical rub, solvent wash, and heavy tactile wear.

OEM switch symbol or DataMatrix code is imported into CAM software to configure laser power, frequency, and speed.
Parts are held in multi-cavity CNC indexed jigs to maintain absolute repeatability across high-volume production.
Focused laser pulses vaporize target paint layers in milliseconds, creating crisp, Burr-free vector edges.
Components undergo optical backlight transmission checks and 2D barcode scanner verification before final dispatch.
